Description
Cataloged as AT405, this Accu-Therm plate heat exchanger uses 56" tall by 27" wide pressed plates and 4" ports. The gasketed plate pack ranges from 20-1/2" - 159-7/8" in length, delivering approximately 48 - 1,495 sq ft of surface, and it unbolts for inspection and cleaning without cutting pipe. Per-plate surface runs near 3.3 square feet, and the unit handles water flows to about 800 GPM. Plates are available in 304 or 316 stainless, titanium, and higher alloys; gaskets in NBR, EPDM, and high-temperature EPDM using Glue-In attachment. Frame options include C Frame - compact cantilever, for space-limited installations; F Frame - intermediate size, bolted head and tail plate; B Frame - for larger units, plates hang from the upper guide bar; capacity to 900 plates. Typical duty is water-to-water HVAC, process cooling, heat recovery, and food and beverage service.
