Custom Temp-Plate work covers everything that is not a standard immersion, clamp-on, bank, integral or drum assembly. Panels are rolled, formed, cut and welded to whatever geometry the application requires, then inflated and pressure tested.
What we need. A drawing or a sketch, the design pressure and temperature on the media side, the process conditions on the product side, the material and finish, and any code requirement. Where the geometry is unusual, a conversation early saves redrawing later.
Materials and thickness. Commonly used material and thickness combinations cover most work. Where a specific combination is needed for a design pressure or a forming radius, it is engineered rather than substituted.
Finishes. Mill, polished and passivated finishes are available, which matters where the panel is a product contact surface or sits in a washdown environment.

The most useful enquiries describe what needs to happen thermally and where, rather than naming a panel type. Half of custom Temp-Plate work turns out to fit one of the standard assemblies once the problem is understood, which is faster and cheaper for everyone.
The other half genuinely needs something built, and those are the interesting ones.
Temp-Plate is engineered to order and has no catalogue number in the way a frame does. The designations below are descriptors built from Mueller's published standard sizes, gauges and flow-pattern types — they are a way to specify a panel, not SKUs to order against.
Reading a designation. TP-DE-T5-12X29-18on18 is a double-embossed panel, flow pattern Type 5, twelve by twenty-nine inches, made from an eighteen gauge sheet pair. Change any of those four and you have a different panel.
Construction. Double-embossed inflates both sheets and is what goes into a tank. Single-embossed keeps one face flat so it can be welded to a vessel wall or a drum.
The type number describes how the medium travels through the panel. A serpentine pattern gives a long path and a large temperature change across the panel; a parallel pattern gives a short path and a uniform surface temperature. Which you want depends on whether you are holding a vessel at temperature or pulling heat out of a product quickly.
Uniformity matters most on drums and rolls, where surface temperature becomes product thickness.
The sheet pair gauge sets the pressure rating, and the rating differs depending on whether the panel is built to ASME. Both figures are in the shared specification above — the non-ASME rating is the higher of the two, and which applies to you is a code question rather than a preference.
Any size outside this table is a drawing rather than a catalogue lookup. That is normal for Temp-Plate; send the vessel and the duty.
