Note: the unit pictured is representative of the standard build and may not exactly depict p/n TP-DE-T5-12X95-20on20 as shown on this page.
This is a Mueller Temp-Plate inflated heat transfer surface in double-embossed construction, 12 inches wide by 95 inches long, in 20 on 20 gauge, arranged as a Type 5 flow pattern - serpentine flow, for in-tank heating or cooling with liquid heat transfer media. Temp-Plate is built by seam welding two stainless sheets around the perimeter, spot welding them on a regular pattern across the face, and hydraulically inflating the sheets to raise a pillowed flow passage between them. Both faces are inflated, so the panel transfers heat from both sides when suspended in a tank or bath. Heat transfer surface is 16.3 square feet. Non-ASME working pressure is 170 PSIG (ASME rating on request for this gauge pair). Standard design rating is 150 PSI at 400°F to -20°F, and high pressure constructions exceed 2,000 PSI. Connections are 1" supply and 3/4" return. Typical assembly style for this size is the Immersion Assembly. Note that Temp-Plate is engineered to order; this part number is a descriptor built from Mueller's published standard size, gauge, and flow-pattern options rather than a stocked catalog number.
