This is a Mueller Temp-Plate inflated heat transfer surface in single-embossed construction, 24 inches wide by 95 inches long, in 18 on 12 gauge, arranged as a Type 5 flow pattern - serpentine flow, for in-tank heating or cooling with liquid heat transfer media. Temp-Plate is built by seam welding two stainless sheets around the perimeter, spot welding them on a regular pattern across the face, and hydraulically inflating the sheets to raise a pillowed flow passage between them. Only one face is inflated; the flat reverse face welds directly to a vessel wall, shell course, or head so the panel becomes an integral jacket. Heat transfer surface is 32.6 square feet. Non-ASME working pressure is 400 PSIG and 185 PSIG with an ASME code stamp. Standard design rating is 150 PSI at 400°F to -20°F, and high pressure constructions exceed 2,000 PSI. Connections are 1-1/2" supply and 3/4" return. Typical assembly style for this size is the Clamp-On Assembly.
