Mueller AT-40W-TI

AT-40W-TI specifications

Description

AT-40W-TI is a Mueller Accu-Therm semi-welded plate heat exchanger. Plates are joined in welded cassettes - two plates welded together - so the refrigerant or aggressive stream is fully contained inside the welded portion, while the secondary side stays gasketed and the pack still opens for cleaning. That combination is what makes the design the standard choice for ammonia and halocarbon solution chilling, flooded and DX evaporators, and refrigerant condensing, where a fully gasketed pack would not be acceptable and a fully welded block could not be serviced. The frame measures 67.4" by 18.7" with port centers at 47.5" and 8.3", ports are 3", and rated flow reaches 450 GPM. Plates are Titanium at 0.6 mm; gaskets are available in nitrile, EPDM, Viton, neoprene, and chloroprene, the last two selected for refrigerant-side compatibility. Design pressure is 150 to 300 PSIG with ASME code construction standard.
