Description
This AT156 Accu-Therm unit is the gasketed plate-and-frame configuration Mueller builds on the 156 plate. Plate dimensions are 87-1/2" by 34-1/2", ports are 8", and the pack length adjusts across 50-3/4" - 176-3/4" to place roughly 240 - 5,600 sq ft of surface into service. Figure about 8.8 square feet per plate and up to 3200 GPM on water. Compared with a shell and tube of the same duty, the plate pack occupies a fraction of the floor space and can be reconfigured by adding or removing plates rather than replacing the exchanger. Gaskets use the Clip-In method. Frame styles offered: B Frame - for larger units, plates hang from the upper guide bar; capacity to 900 plates.
