AT4 specifications
Description
The AT4 is a gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchanger from the Mueller Accu-Therm series, built around a 23" x 8" plate on a 1" port. Cold and hot streams alternate through gasketed channels formed by chevron-corrugated plates, which drives turbulence at low flow and gives approach temperatures in the 1°F to 3°F range that a shell and tube cannot reach. The frame accepts plate packs from 12" - 22-7/8", covering roughly 15 - 50 sq ft of heat transfer surface at about 0.5 square feet per plate. Rated flow is up to 80 GPM of water. Standard construction is 316 stainless plates with nitrile or EPDM gaskets in a painted carbon steel frame, and the pack expands in the field as duty grows. Available frame styles: C Frame - compact cantilever, for space-limited installations.
